I’m Harley, a 21-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, and my journey has been a mix of misfortune and resilience.  After navigating through multiple auctions, I found myself in a kill pen, an unexpected twist in my story.

Once adopted, my life took a series of turns as I moved from place to place. Eventually, my person gave me away instead of honoring our initial adoption agreement. Luckily, the rescue stepped in, ensuring that promises made would be kept. Since then, I’ve been on a mission to regain weight and rebuild my muscle tone, a slow but steady process.

Now back at the rescue, I wait, hoping for that special person or family to come along. Someone who sees beyond my troubled past and recognizes the gentle spirit within.

Despite the challenges, I’ve always carried a lovely, sweet personality that shines through.  I’m yearning for a forever home where I can share my warmth and companionship. If you’re that special someone, I’m here, patiently waiting to find my perfect match.
